This Walnut is native of North America. It is prized for its beautiful, straight grain pattern. It is a rich brown color and has a hard, smooth texture. It is stable and strong. It is easy to work with and creates a beautiful, finished product.
Laser Compatibility: All Diode and CO2. Note: Glowforge does not recommend using MDF in the Aura or Spark. We have tested the MDF and it cuts well but creates more particulate matter which can raise issues with the filter. Venting outside seems to be fine as well as cleaning the machine after but you can decide if MDF is used in your Spark or Aura
